Early voting was approved by the Florida Legislature in 2004. Statewide, early voting begins 15 days before an election. Days and times vary among counties.
In Pinellas County, early voting is normally held in all Supervisor of Elections offices (listed below) the two weeks prior to any federal, state or county election. Hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Saturday-Sunday, 8 a.m.-Noon.
Municipalities are not legally required to provide early voting for their elections.
