Ordinance 2009-12, amends Section 3.15 of the City Charter to require voter approval only of those comprehensive plan amendments which change density or intensity of uses or height of structures, or which add or change a land use category. The existing charter requires voter approval of all comprehensive plan amendments except for those affecting five or fewer parcels of land or as otherwise prohibited by law. Should Ordinance 2009-12 be approved?
Ordinance 2008-24, amends the Comprehensive Plan by establishing Future Land Use Element Policy and Special Designation Land Use Category Community Redevelopment District-Eighth Avenue in Pass-a-Grille, amends the Future Land Use Map, provides for land development standards, including increase in residential density, and commercial floor area ratio and method for calculating permitted density, allowing residential and commercial uses to be supported inclusively by same underlying land area. Ordinance 2008-47 amends the Housing, Infrastructure, Capital Improvements, Conservation and Coastal and Intergovernmental Coordination Comprehensive Plan Elements of the Comprehensive Plan to address and resolve recommendations based upon the review of the Evaluation and Appraisal Report by the State Land Planning Agency.
