Question No. 1 Charter Amendment 

Voter Approval of Certain Comprehensive Plan Amendments 

Ordinance 2009-12, amends Section 3.15 of the City Charter to require voter approval only of those comprehensive plan amendments which change density or intensity of uses or height of structures, or which add or change a land use category. The existing charter requires voter approval of all comprehensive plan amendments except for those affecting five or fewer parcels of land or as otherwise prohibited by law. Should  Ordinance 2009-12 be approved?

Question No. 2 Charter Amendment

Voter Approval of Certain Amendments to the City Land Development Code



Ordinance 2009-17, amends Section 3.18 of the City Charter to require submission to a vote of the electors of amendment to the City Land Development Code which changes the allowable height of any structure (as defined by the Land Development Code), unless the amendment has been previously voted upon in an approved Comprehensive Plan or Comprehensive Plan Amendment.
