Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark encourages voters to vote early – by mail. Voters can vote at their convenience in the comfort of their own homes, and beginning Monday, they can drop off their ballots at more than a dozen locations throughout the county.

NEW this election – dropoff sites will be open from October 18 through 7 p.m. November 2, Election Day, as an expanded service to voters. Days and times vary per location.

Any registered voter may vote by mail in Florida. State law allows you to request mail ballots through the next regularly scheduled general election. More than 245,000 Pinellas County voters have already signed up.

All ballots must be received in any Elections Office or ballot dropoff site by 7 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots may not be dropped off at a polling place on Election Day. All accepted mail ballots are included in the official final results.

Voters can choose to mail back their voted ballots or they can drop off their ballots at one of 14 ballot return sites:

Ø Three Elections Offices: County Courthouse, 315 Court St., Room 117, Clearwater; Election Service Center, 13001 Starkey Rd., Largo; or County Building, 501 1^st Ave. N., St. Petersburg      
Ø Five of the Tax Collector offices: 743 S. Pinellas Ave., Tarpon Springs; 29399 US 19 N. (near Curlew), Clearwater; 1663 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd., Clearwater; 1800 66^th St. N., St. Petersburg; and 1067 62^nd Ave. S., St. Petersburg
Ø      Palm Harbor Community Activity Center, 1500 16^th St., Palm Harbor
Ø      Public libraries in East Lake, Oldsmar, Seminole and Pinellas Park, and the James Weldon Johnson Branch Library in St. Petersburg

Dropoff boxes are inside these locations. An election employee will be available to assist voters. “I Voted” stickers are also available at each location.

Voters will be notified of all dropoff locations, along with dates and times of operation, in their mail ballot instructions. This information is also available online at www.votepinellas.com under Ballots by Mail.

Voters can track their ballot status online at www.votepinellas.com to see when it is mailed and when it is received by the Supervisor of Elections.
