August 11, 10:00 AM: Pre-election test of precinct, mail and provisional ballot scanning equipment [F.S. 101.5612]; Canvass mail ballots (No earlier than 22 days prior to election) [F.S. 101.68(2)]

August 18 – 23, 10:00 AM: Canvass mail ballots [F.S. 101.68(2)]; Mail ballot processing [F.S. 102.141(4)(a)]

August 24, 5:00 PM: Canvass mail ballots [F.S. 101.68(2)]; Election Day processing; Release unofficial results (does not include provisional ballots)

August 25, 10:00 AM: Canvass mail and provisional ballots [F.S. 101.68(2)] [F.S. 101.048]

August 26, 5:00 PM: Canvass mail and provisional ballots [F.S. 101.68(2)] [F.S. 101.048]

August 27, 10:00 AM: Canvass provisional ballots [F.S. 101.048]; Post-election test of mail and provisional ballot scanning equipment [F.S. 101.5612]; Certify Official Returns; Conduct of Election Report; Conduct Audit [F.S. 101.591]

Additional Information: All Canvassing Board meetings will be held at the Election Service Center, 13001 Starkey Road, Largo. The deadline to submit a cure affidavit for a mail/provisional ballot is 5:00 p.m., August 26, 2021. The deadline for anyone who casts a provisional ballot to provide proof of eligibility to the Canvassing Board is 5:00 p.m., August 26, 2021. [F.S. 101.048(6)(b)].

Canvassing Board Members (including appointed alternates): Supervisor of Elections Julie Marcus, Judge John Carassas, Judge Edwin Jagger, Commissioner Dave Eggers and Herb Polson.

Note: Persons are advised that if they wish to appeal any decision made at these meetings, they will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, per Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes.
